Walnut Park in Cary is a wonderful place for families! The park is clean, peaceful, and well maintained, with plenty of open space for kids to play and enjoy the outdoors. Itβs a great spot to take the family, relax, and spend some time outside. We always enjoy visiting and highly recommend it!

Was in town for work and wanted somewhere to get outside and walk around for a bit. Really nice little park with pickleball courts, bathrooms, a jungle gym, and a well-manicured lawn with plenty of space to picnic or just sit and hang out. There was even a family playing wiffle ball in the larger common area. Nothing crazy, just a nice, chill spot to get outside.

Good place for pickup basketball and pickleball most weekday mornings and after work. Both facilities are lighted be careful to look for children and reversing cars in the unconventionally eclipse shaped and oftentimes busy parking lot.

We headed over to Walnut Street Park recently to check out the space, and it definitely didn't disappoint! Itβs such a hidden gem in Cary. We explored the paved loop and the boardwalks through the wetlandsβthe scenery is awesome and super well-kept. The "twisty" playground structure is also a huge hit and looks way cooler than your average park setup. βThe service from the town crew and the upkeep was once again at a rockstar level. Everything from the brick promenade to the restrooms was spotless and in great shape. Itβs clear they put a lot of work into making sure this place stays a top-tier spot for the community. βIf youβre looking for a casual spot to walk the dog, let the kids burn off some energy, or just enjoy a picnic on that massive lawn, this is the place. Weβll definitely be making this a regular weekend stop!
